A/Prof Siow’s subspecialty interest is in rhinology, image guidance in sinus surgery and anterior
skull base surgery.
He has been teaching faculty for endoscopic sinus surgery courses and conferences in Australia,
Austria, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Egypt, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan,
Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, New Zealand, Oman, Philippines, Russia,
Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, United Arab
Emirates and USA.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of the European Archives of ORL H &N Surgery and the
International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology. He was Chairman of the Singapore Ministry of
Health Clinical Practice Guideline Workgroup for Rhinosinusitis and Allergic Rhinitis 2010 and
a Past President of the Asian Research Symposium in Rhinology and the ASEAN ORL H&N
Federation.
